A Mi’kmaw citizen and member of the Eel River Bar First Nation, Dr. Palmater has made a career out of specializing in First Nation law, a passion that dates back to her time at UNB. Pam has been studying, volunteering and working in First Nation issues for over 25 years on a wide range of legal and social issues. Voted one of Canada’s Top 5 Most Influential Lawyers in the Human Rights Category, she is frequently called on as an expert to discuss issues impacting Indigenous peoples.
